On Mother's day I went to Congri Cuban Restaurant with my friend Maria. She was going to visit her mom on mother's day, and she invited me to spend this day with them because she knew I would be alone wishing I were spending it with my mom, which was very kind of her! Congri restaurant is located in 55 N Barron Blvd (Rt 83) Grayslake, IL. It is an hour away from Chicago by driving. When we arrived all the tables were reserved, Maria did our reservation before. Her mother received us with love, and sat down to talk with us for a couple of minutes because she had to received others customers. I had a good time there. The food was simple as it is, but delectable. The attention was really good, and the environment was plenty of good vibes. Finally, to make it more special they had a man playing his guitar and singing typical songs from Cuba.
